Becker Avionics in conjunction with Intercontinental Jet Service Corp has and STC in works to replace the Becker audio panels in the Piaggio Avanti fleet with a new digital solution, with Becker’s AMU 6500. The AMU 6500 comes with a wide range of audio upgrades for the fleet. Options include;
- 3d audio
- Bluetooth
- Music input
- Iridium and cell phone inputs
The audio package STC will include all the structural, electrical, and data package needed for the installation. IJSC Avionics Manager Joe Hensley says, “ The AMU 6500 is a great upgrade for the Avanti aircraft that will extend the service life of the aircraft for many years to come.” Base pricing of the upgrade in estimated at $46,000.00 and the installation can be performed in 3-5 days.
